Category: Chairs

The Rivet Chair is defined by smooth aluminum planes and geometrical lines–a symbiosis between craftsmanship and industrial production. Based on a riveting technique suitable for making perpendicular joints between separate, laser-cut raw aluminum sheets, the chair is put together by hand using a hammer in a cold-forming assembly process developed by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2011.

Carter Z. ★★★★★

The smooth aluminum finish catches the light beautifully, and the geometrical lines make it a real statement piece in my dining room. It’s surprisingly comfortable for how sleek it looks.

Chloe D. ★★★★★

The perpendicular riveted joints give it a clean, architectural look that stands out in my dining room, and the smooth aluminum feels cool to the touch every time I pull it out. Assembly took me about twenty minutes with the included hardware, and the finish hasn't picked up a single scratch in thre

Ella K. ★★★★★

I was a bit nervous the riveted seams would look industrial or rough, but in person those perpendicular joins are so clean they feel almost sculptural. The aluminum's smooth finish makes it look way more expensive than it was, and it's surprisingly sturdy.
