Created for the new Reethaus cultural space located within Berlin's Flussbad campus, this special edition of the Folding Flat Chair introduces an Ash Black iteration of FRAMA’s most flexible seating. As with its original design, the chair folds down to a flat profile of four centimeters for wall hanging and ease of storage in any environment — designed to adapt to spaces that are always in evolution.

I’ve been using this chair at home and it’s surprisingly sturdy for how lightweight it is—the ash black birch finish gives it a sophisticated, almost sculptural look. Folds flat in seconds, which makes storage a breeze, and the seating feels solid even during long dinners.

The way it folds completely flat makes storing it a non-issue, even in my tiny Berlin apartment. The ash black birch has a nice matte texture that picks up light differently depending on the room.

I love how this chair folds completely flat — perfect for tucking away when guests leave. The birch frame is sturdy but surprisingly light to move around.
