Easy Chair 01 is a serene, minimal alternative to the upholstered lounge chair. Adapted from Chair 01, this easy yet geometric shape plays on proportion while leaving mortise and tenon joints exposed—a tribute to the hand-made that intervenes only minimally with the natural qualities of the chair’s materials.

Julian S. ★★★★★

I wasn't sure a wooden chair could feel this inviting, but the warm birch grain and low, open shape make it perfect for curling up with a book. The beechwood has a subtle glow that catches the afternoon light beautifully.

Ella N. ★★★★★

The exposed mortise and tenon joints are the first thing I noticed—they give the whole chair a beautiful, handmade feel you don't see in most modern furniture. Sits firm but supportive, and the warm brown birch adds a calm, grounded warmth to my reading corner.

Ava T. ★★★★★

I was a little worried the warm brown birch would be too orange, but it's actually a really rich, natural tone that warms up the room. The minimal frame is surprisingly comfortable for sitting upright and reading.
