I’ve been using it as a plant stand, and the untreated Douglas Fir has a lovely, natural grain that stands out. The mix of sharp and rounded edges makes it feel more considered than a plain block.

The contrast between the sharp square edge and the smooth rounded curve makes it feel like two different pieces in one, and the untreated Douglas Fir has that lovely raw grain you can actually see and touch. I've got it under a low plant pot right now and the form just anchors the whole corner.
