Category: Shelves

The Rivet Shelf explores basic storing facets within one shape while functioning as a storage and display platform. Based on a riveting technique suitable for making perpendicular joints between separate, laser-cut raw aluminum sheets, the shelf is put together by hand using a hammer in a cold-forming assembly process developed by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2014.

Adam ★★★★★

The riveted joints are incredibly sturdy, making this shelf feel solid despite its light weight. I mounted it in my kitchen and it holds heavy cookbooks without any wobble. It's the perfect blend of industrial form and practical function.

Olivia ★★★★★

I’m a fan of how clean and simple the riveted joints look—they make the whole shelf feel stable even when I load it with books and a plant. The matte aluminum finish doesn’t show fingerprints, which is a nice bonus for daily use.

Leo O. ★★★★★

The riveting technique really stands out when you see it up close—the joints look clean and intentional, not like an afterthought. I’ve got it holding a few books and a small plant, and it feels sturdy without looking bulky. Exactly the kind of display piece I was hoping for.
