Stool 01 | Dark Brown Birch | H65

The birch wood has a lovely, smooth grain that feels solid when you sit on it, and the height is perfect for tucking under my desk. I was surprised by how stable it feels even on our uneven floorboards. It’s exactly the simple, sturdy extra seat I needed for the kitchen.

I use this stool as a quick seat in my kitchen, and the simple birch feels solid enough to lean on while I’m cooking. That clean Nordic silhouette fits right in with my other mid-century pieces without looking fussy.

The wood grain on this stool is really beautiful up close, and the dark birch finish feels much more substantial than I expected for the price. It’s got that clean, old-school Nordic look that works perfectly in my kitchen corner. Solid little piece that’s exactly what I was after.
